Terms & Conditions

Triangle InfoSeCon (“Triangle InfoSeCon”) will take place in person on Friday, October 30, 2026 . This registration agreement (the “Agreement”) is made by and between the ISSA Raleigh Chapter (“Triangle InfoSeCon Organizer”) and registrant. This Agreement includes and incorporates by reference the Privacy Policy/Terms of Use posted in the footer below. Submit all written notices to Triangle InfoSeCon Organizer by completing the Contact Us form below.

Cancellation Policy

If circumstances or policies in your organization change and you can no longer attend Triangle InfoSeCon, you may request cancellation of your registration by logging into the ticket registration site using the personalized link you received when you purchased the ticket. The Triangle InfoSeCon refund policy is as follows:

Cancellation : No Refunds

Substitution PolicyAn individual registrant may make a substitution at any time including the day of the event without any additional fee. Please see the Substitution Policy below for details. Please Note:

  • Individual substitutions are only allowed “by action” of the original registrant or purchasing organization.
  • The substituted individual must also be from the same registration type as the original registrant. For instance, a professional attendee can only transfer the ticket to another professional. A student attendee can only transfer the ticket to another student.
  • A maximum of one (1) substitution per original registrant is allowed.

Payment

Please note:

  • Payment by bank transfer, checks and purchase order is available through September 30, 2026.
  • Cash payment will not be accepted.
    If you are paying by check, the check must be postmarked by the corresponding deadline date in order to receive that pricing.
  • A purchase order is an accepted form of payment but must be processed before September 30, 2026.

Student Rate

  • Student tickets can only be purchased by a full-time student.
  • College students must provide a copy of their class schedule showing a minimum of twelve (12) units or credits and a valid student ID. Graduate students must provide a copy of their class schedule showing a minimum of nine (9) units or credits and a valid student ID.
  • If registering for the student rate online, proof of your student standing will be asked to be submitted for review.
  • NOTE: Student ticket holders are not eligible to participate in the CISO Leadership Event.

Admittance

In its sole discretion and without refund, Triangle InfoSeCon Organizer reserves the right to refuse admittance to or expel from the Triangle InfoSeCon anyone that it determines is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the Triangle InfoSeCon or any other attendee.

Photo ID

A government issued photo id is required to collect Triangle InfoSeCon credentials/badges. Photocopies and electronic copies are not considered an acceptable form of ID.

Information Sharing

To help our Sponsors plan for Triangle InfoSeCon, we share with them a list of attendee company names, job titles, emails, phone numbers. You may opt-out of this sharing by emailing communications@raleighissa.org.

Costume / Mask

Costume and/or mask that hides the attendee’s face is prohibited at all times throughout the entire Venue. Violation of this rule will subject the violator to immediate removal from the Venue and forfeiture of the registration fee.

Photography, Audio and Video Recording

Triangle InfoSeCon reserves the right to use images, audio and video recording taken at the Triangle InfoSeCon with your photograph and/or likeness in future marketing materials.


Solicitation

Triangle InfoSeCon Organizer reserves the right to escort any individual from Triangle InfoSeCon who is reported to be soliciting at the Venue and who is not a Triangle InfoSeCon sponsor or exhibitor. Triangle InfoSeCon Organizer encourages attendees to support the paid sponsors and exhibitors who, in turn, are supporting the industry. Triangle InfoSeCon Organizer also encourages you not to listen to a sales pitch from a non-sponsor or exhibitor.

Drones

The use of Drones/Unmanned Aircrafts (“UAV”) is strictly prohibited at all times throughout the entire Venue and the adjacent areas outside of the Venue. UAV’s are devices that are used or intended to be used for flight in the air with no onboard pilot (either controlled manually or through an autopilot using a data link to connect the pilot to the UAV).

Disclaimer

The views and opinions expressed by any Triangle InfoSeCon attendee, speaker, exhibitor or sponsor are not necessarily those of Triangle InfoSeCon or Triangle InfoSeCon Organizer. All Triangle InfoSeCon attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of any and all individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, advertising and online Web content.

Force Majeure

Triangle InfoSeCon Organizer shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, cyber attacks, the availability of the Venue, fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without the fault or negligence of Triangle InfoSeCon Organizer or its subcontractors. For one or more of such reasons, Triangle InfoSeCon Organizer may postpone, reschedule or cancel the event without liability on the part of Triangle InfoSeCon Organizer. In the event Triangle InfoSeCon cannot be held or is postponed pursuant to this section, Triangle InfoSeCon Organizer shall not be liable to attendee for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses. Triangle InfoSeCon Organizer will review refund and/or fee transfer requests, submitted in writing, for approval on a situational basis.

These Terms & Conditions

Triangle InfoSeCon reserves the right to update and change any part or all of these Registration Terms and Conditions at any time without notifying you first. If we update or change these Registration Terms and Conditions, the updated Registration Terms and Conditions will be posted on our Triangle InfoSeCon website. By registering you hereby consent to these Registration Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.

Code of Conduct

Event organizers will enforce this code and expect cooperation from all Triangle InfoSeCon participants (e.g., attendees, speakers, media, sponsors, volunteers) to help us promote a safe and enjoyable Triangle InfoSeCon experience for everyone.

Overview

This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for all participants of Triangle InfoSeCon. Event organizers will enforce this code and expect cooperation from all Triangle InfoSeCon participants (e.g., speakers, attendees, media, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, staff) to help us promote a safe and enjoyable Triangle InfoSeCon experience for everyone.
All determinations of acceptable and/or unacceptable behavior are at the sole discretion of the event organizer and its representatives. Decisions made by onsite event organizers will be considered final.

Acceptable Triangle InfoSeCon Behavior

Acceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • demonstrating good manners by being considerate, respectful, and courteous to those in attendance;
  • being mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants;
  • refraining from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech; and
  • promptly alerting event organizers if you notice a potentially dangerous situation or someone in distress.

Unacceptable Triangle InfoSeCon Behavior
Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to: intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning conduct and/or wearing clothing not suitable for a professional work environment (e.g., provocative).Harassment and unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • offensive verbal comments (e.g., related to race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability);
  • inappropriate use of nudity (e.g., sexual or lewd images);
  • deliberate intimidation or stalking;
  • harassing photography or recording;
  • intentional disruption of presentations or other events;
  • inappropriate physical contact (e.g., unwelcome sexual advances, groping, sexual assault);
  • physical, written, verbal or other abuse (e.g., threats, annoyance, pushing, shoving or physical force whatsoever against any person, which in any way creates a disturbance that is disruptive or dangerous, or creates anxiety or apprehension in an individual), as determined by the event organizer and its representatives, in their sole discretion;
  • boisterous, lewd or offensive behavior or content (e.g., containing profanity, obscene gestures, or slurs (e.g., racial, religious, gender, ethnic);
  • possession of any item that can be used as a weapon, which may cause danger to others if used inappropriately;
  • possessing alcoholic beverages in areas not specifically designated for the consumption of alcohol;
  • possessing any illegal substance (e.g., narcotics);
  • smoking and vaping- other than in designated areas;
  • assembling for the purpose of, or resulting in, disturbing the peace, or committing any unlawful act or engaging in offensive behavior;
  • failing to obey any rules or regulations of the venue; and/or
  • failing to adhere to Triangle InfoSeCon instruction.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior
Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated. Anyone engaged in unacceptable behavior is subject to expulsion from Triangle InfoSeCon without warning or refund and/or banishment from future Triangle InfoSeCon. 

Reporting Unacceptable Behavior
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being treated poorly, or have additional concerns, please contact a member of the Triangle InfoSeCon Organizers located at the Main Lobby of Raleigh Convention Center during Triangle InfoSeCon hours.
We expect participants to follow this Code of Conduct at the Triangle InfoSeCon venue. The policy may be revised at any time by the Triangle InfoSeCon organizer and is non-negotiable. In the event of an emergency situation, please contact local authorities immediately.

This Code of Conduct is based on policies created by the Ada Initiative.
